ANFACO-CECOPESCA, in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, organizes the 3rd Tuna Awards.
These biennial Tuna Awards recognize outstanding innovations in the global tuna sector and aim to highlight the industry’s efforts towards transition and sustainability and reward innovative companies and initiatives.
CATEGORY
As in the previous edition, the Tuna Awards will recognize and reward projects related to tuna that focus on innovation in the following categories:
New Products: Focused on commercial presentations that use tuna as an ingredient and offer a disruptive approach to the general market value proposition.
Circular Economy: Actions or developments that maximize the potential of this new business model, achieving added value or hybridization with other sectors.
Revolution 4.0: Companies or other public or private initiatives with projects in the field of technologies for an intelligent and advanced 4.0 value chain, applicable to both industrial solutions and seafood product manufacturers.
Each winner will benefit from global recognition, as well as promotional and sponsorship support from the organizers. In addition, both submissions will receive an exclusive trophy along with an invitation to network during the 12th World Tuna Conference, Vigo 2025.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Proposals must be submitted between April 1 and June 30, 2025 (both inclusive).
AWARDS
The prize-giving ceremony will take place on September 10, 2025, in Vigo, Spain, on the theme of the 11th World Tuna Conference.
